The Tessuti Edit.

Monmouth Glass Studio Dome Lamp | Martina Organics Travel Pack | Andante Undated Diary | Artesania De Galicia Snake Bowl | Missoni Erode Throw | Le Serail Marseille Soap

August for me has always been the time to clean, to cull and to revamp. Maybe it’s the anticipation of spring, or a way to get through the last of the winter blues, but I am always in need of a little pick me up. So I headed over to Tessuti to pick a few of my favourites.

I have long been a fan of Monmouth Glass Studio, I have my eye on this hand blown dome lamp for my upcoming Master Bedroom revamp, that teamed with the softest Missoni throw, and you have killer combo. I also couldn’t go past the new range of Artesania De Galicia. The snake bowl is the answer to my perfect fruit bowl pursuit (side note, it also comes in very usable canisters  hold me back) Next, because of my somewhat transient lifestyle at the moment, I picked the Martina Organics travel pack to keep my skin in tow, and the undated, and filled with beautiful photography, Undated Diary to keep my mind in check.  And finally, call me crazy, but there is really nothing like a fresh soap to lift the spirits, and Le Serail Marseille are second to none.

If you havent had the chance to pop in to Tessuti’s bricks and mortar on Jervois, then you are missing out. A carefully curated, soft and sophisticated, yet playful mix, Ali has created one of the most inviting stores on the block. But never fear fellow ‘rural folk’, the online boutique will not disappoint. There really is something for everyone, including  for the fluff ball Franks ( how cute is this pooch pillow? )

Until next time

It is not often that I show case a local talent, but today I do so with the utmost pride.

My sometimes workmate and always friend launched her new website today. Moving from separated portfolios of weddings & editorial, her new home is full of wonder and glory and an incredible selection of her work.  And why shouldn’t it be one? Heather’s approach to photography has always been holistic, the same manner that is taken in capturing a campaign is taken when documenting a person. Effortless, unobtrusive and honest.

Although I am lucky enough to have heather close by in the Hawkes Bay, she is always up for an adventure, so whether you wedding, celebration or shoot is near of far, she’s your gal.

Go feast you eyes here.

Until next time
